Legal Administrative Assistant – Personal Injury
Insight Global is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant for a leading personal injury law firm.
This individual will support a busy plaintiff-side personal injury practice by managing legal documentation, coordinating client and litigation schedules, maintaining organized file systems, and ensuring critical deadlines are met.
The ideal candidate brings experience in personal injury litigation, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting legal professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Draft, proofread, and transcribe legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and medical-legal reports
Coordinate examinations for discovery, mediations, settlement conferences, court appearances, and client appointments
Manage and maintain physical and electronic client files, including medical records, expert reports, and litigation documents
Prepare and monitor bring-forward systems, limitation periods, and litigation deadlines
Open, maintain, and close personal injury files in accordance with firm procedures
Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical professionals, experts, and opposing counsel
Assist with the preparation of settlement packages, court filings, and trial materials
Liaise with billing and accounting teams regarding file management and account administration
Provide administrative support to lawyers and legal professionals within the personal injury practice group
Complete additional administrative and legal support duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program
5-9 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in litigation, preferably within Labour & Employment
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
Thorough understanding of litigation legal procedures
Solid organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail • Previous experience with Elite 3E
• Experience supporting Labour & Employment lawyers within a large law firm environment
• Experience coordinating court appearances, mediations, discoveries, and hearings
Strong billing coordination experience
