Job Description:

We are seeking a Knowledge Based Engineer (KBE) with 3+ years of experience in CATIA/NX parametric modeling and automotive component design. The role focuses on developing KBE/template-based CAD models, defining modeling architecture, and supporting complex vehicle packaging and system development.

Responsibilities:
Develop parametric CAD models using CATIA/NX and KBE template modeling techniques.
Define master modeling structures, architecture, packaging, and design requirements.
Design and package automotive exterior components such as rear bumpers, grilles, and brackets.
Apply knowledge of plastic part design and injection molding.
Train and support other CATIA/NX engineers on modeling techniques and architecture.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
3+ years of relevant experience.
Solid CATIA experience; NX preferred.
Automotive exterior component design experience.
Experience with plastic parts and injection molding.
Solid vehicle packaging and CAD modeling knowledge.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 1–2 days/week in office

Travel: Michigan approximately once per quarter
