As a Junior Engineer, you will contribute to developing and reviewing critical P&C; relay settings and coordination studies. This position will allow you to work with cutting-edge software and engage with diverse clients while honing your project coordination and engineering skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop substations' P&C; relay settings and reports
• Review project scope and select protection schemes
• Use software tools like Aspen Oneliner and ETAP for simulations
• Create wiring drawings and protection diagrams
• Conduct commissioning tests in office as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Eligibility for Skilled Engineer registration in Alberta
• Relevant experience in electrical design or commissioning
• Proficiency with modeling software including CAPE
• Strong foundational knowledge in power system protection
