The candidate will participate in engineering activities including but not limited to:Hardware and software design and requirements analysisReview and analyze vendor data for:Reliability, Availability and Maintainability predictionsFailure Modes, Effects, & Criticality Analysis (FMECA)Appropriately placed repair, sparing, and lifecycle cost predictionsFunctional Block Diagrams (FBDs)Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs)Participating in design and system architecture reviewsEnsuring Design for Supportability and Engineering for Supportability (Dependability, affordability, standardization, upgradeability) activities are being considered and captured.Basic Qualifications
Pursuing a degree in System/Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related fieldEligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely mannerWorking knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint,



and VisioTechnical mindset to breakdown systems into logical unitsAbility to troubleshoot complex systems and their componentsAptitude for working well in teams and solving challenging problems in a team environmentAbility to work independentlyWell organized, capable of planning, scheduling and prioritizing workAvailable for a minimum of four (4) months, up to eight (8) months, starting September 2026.Desired Skills
Knowledge of Systems Engineering, Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RMA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)Knowledge of Systems Modelling Language (SysML), Unified Modelling Language (UML)Knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office, Visio, SharePoint, Energetic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS®), Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), JiraResults-Oriented Self-Starter Attitude.
