About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and imaginative Set Designer to join their prestigious Arts & Entertainment team based in Kimberley . This role is central to creating visually stunning and functional environments for stage productions, film shoots, and events. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the construction of sets that enhance the storytelling and aesthetic of each project. Key Responsibilities

- Design creative and practical sets for theatre, film, television, and special events.
- Develop detailed blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to communicate design concepts.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and technical crews to ensure designs meet artistic and logistical requirements.
- Oversee the construction, installation and dressing of sets,



ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
- Manage set design budgets and sourcing of materials and props.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Set Design, Theater Arts, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in set design, with a compelling portfolio demonstrating work in the Arts & Entertainment sector.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and stagecraft.
- Excellent spatial reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
