Service Writer / Customer Service Representative

on a

full time, permanent basis

in our

Rocky View County, AB

head office. The successful applicant will have an enthusiasm for sales and some mechanical background (i.e.: marine or diesel repair, industrial trades) or prior experience as a Parts Person. Our hours of work are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Occasionally, overtime work is necessary and you will be required to participate. The wage range is $25.00 to $32.00 per hour. The starting wage offered will depend upon your experience. Duties

This position involves day-to-day customer service and sales, including telephone and walk-in clients. You will be doing scheduling, setting up, tracking and completion of customer jobs, invoicing and payment processing.



You will also work closely with the Shop Managers to set job priorities on a daily basis and be an active participant in our Sales and Marketing Program. Alamo offers 24-hour emergency service, so some on-call work will be required. Using a company cell phone, you will receive and manage emergency after-hours calls on a rotating schedule. Alamo will provide you with extensive training in our policies and procedures. Qualifications

Able to interact with customers in a professional, enthusiastic manner Able to accomplish goals with minimal direct supervision Meticulous attention to detail Critical and creative thinking skills for solving problems Intermediate or higher level computer skills, including familiarity with Word and Excel Willingness to learn current software Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
