Reporting to the Head of Distribution, Canada the responsibilities will involve management of key client relationships focused on client retention and new business growth. A successful candidate will have proven ability to align and influence internal and external stakeholders, is an effective communicator, has the ability to build commitment, and is tolerant of ambiguity. Key attributes for the role include leadership, creativity, collaboration, strong influential skills, presence, vision, and broad insurance knowledge.How you will create an impactClient EngagementBuild valuable client relationships with key personnel,



including C-suite executivesServe as the senior AIG point of contact for key client partners and their brokersFormulate Client Summaries in partnership with clients to identify critical client focus areas, existing AIG alignment, and forward-looking opportunities for increased partnershipIdentify and maintain regular collaborative dialogue with key business influencers at major brokerage operationsInternal ManagementChampion new and existing business initiatives working with the Broker Distribution team (Broker & Market Leaders, Broker Directors) and Underwriting Business Unit leaders.Collaborate with leadership across Underwriting, Claims, Risk Engineering, Marketing, and others to ensure a Client Centric Focus is integrated into all market events, growth targets and business planningDevelop and implement collaborative marketing and event strategies to achieve business production and performance goalsManage assigned client account portfolios across Distribution and UnderwritingDrive the AIG value proposition and ensure that clients are aware of the array of products, services and solutions (enterprise-wide) available and enhance exposure to AIGDevelop plans to improve portfolio and account performance,



enhance service and strengthen relationships with major account clientsDeliver results in recent business production and cross selling from existing clients in line with set objectivesMeet or exceed client retention and premium retention goals for the Engaged Account Portfolio.What you'll need to succeed10+ years of experience, including proven client relationship / management experienceExperience in P&C InsuranceAbility to build relationships, internally and externallyAbility to influence brokers, clients, peers, senior executives and staffAbility to manage complex global insurance relationshipsStrong financial and accounting skills to effectively engage at the senior management levelStrong problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in French is an asset but not requiredThe base salary range for this position is $88,000-$133,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
