As our new Commercial Manager (Pre-Contract), you’ll be at the heart of this transformation. You’ll help set the strategy, drive innovation,



and ensure every partnership and agreement supports our vision for a resilient, sustainable future. What you’ll be doing: Supporting the Commercial Lead in the development of the commercial and contractual strategy for the procurement phase of a major infrastructure programme. Specialising in the NEC4 suite, framework agreements, and bespoke contractual arrangements to ensure contracts reflect our strategy and values. Drafting and reviewing contract documentation, allocating risk and reward, and enabling performance management for post-contract success. Overseeing the supplier and contractor selection process, producing robust tender documents, and leading commercial negotiations. Providing commercial modelling, evaluation, and dispute avoidance expertise. Building robust relationships with internal teams and external partners, and supporting continuous improvement.
