This apprenticeship provides the chance to work directly under a skilled Journeyperson Electrician. You’ll assist in the installation and upkeep of electrical substations while adhering to safety practices. This hands-on role includes troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and gaining valuable insights into electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:



• Assist with substation construction and equipment installation • Handle high voltage equipment including transformers and breakers • Document and install network and power cabling • Perform maintenance and testing on substation equipment • Develop maintenance reports and work scopes

Requirements: • Registered Electrical Apprentice focused on Industrial stream • Thorough knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with acceptable record • Experience with construction machinery is advantageous • Must travel and work under various conditions
