Oversee Alberta’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) operations as the Director, ensuring safe and equitable service access. This full time position located in Edmonton or Calgary focuses on leadership and innovation.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director will lead strategic planning and policy initiatives enhancing MAID services. This role requires navigating complex healthcare landscapes while collaborating with various stakeholders to drive meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead strategic planning and policy development for MAID
• Advise key leaders on operational challenges
• Manage legislative reviews and emerging healthcare trends

• Represent the Ministry in cross-landscape initiatives

Requirements:
• A degree in Health or Business Administration
• At least seven years in a senior management role
• In-depth knowledge of Alberta’s healthcare and MAID landscape
• Expertise in managing healthcare programs and change
• Excellent relationship management and strategic problem-solving skills
