Title of position: Associate Director, Supply Management Quality

As a Quality Leader, you are responsible for ensuring that the quality of P&WC; suppliers’ products, processes, and services meets internal and regulatory requirements and continuously improves. The Quality Leader is also responsible for defining, executing, and deploying strategies and action plans aimed at improving supplier quality performance. You will lead a team of experienced quality professionals responsible for managing and improving the quality performance of assigned suppliers by developing tactical, strategic, and operational plans that support the achievement of short‑and‑long‑term objectives.
The position is based at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on‑site.
What will your day‑to‑day look like? Manages the execution of key elements of supplier quality improvement and development plans.




Leads a team of experienced quality and supplier development professionals within a defined organization.
Provides guidance on the implementation of quality initiatives.
Manages supplier quality issues through escape management monitoring and escalation processes, non‑conforming material submission processes, and MRB support.
Supports supplier qualification and certification activities.
Supports source inspection and material release processes.
Ensures the deployment of escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and problem‑solving methodologies (Red‑X & 8D).
Recommends corrective and preventive actions for issues related to supplier‑provided products.
Establishes corrective action boards and quality clinics with selected suppliers.
Supports the CORE program at RTX suppliers to ensure sustainable and continuous improvement.
Analyzes available data to identify systemic issues and develop quality strategies and initiatives using proactive quality tools (e.g., PFMEA, process and control plans, SPC, etc.).
Leads the execution of long‑term strategies (e.g., 3+ years) and provides operational direction for an organization of defined size and scope.
Addresses issues that may range from challenging to moderately complex.
Influences stakeholders outside their own functional area regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
Develops and leads the implementation of supplier‑specific quality initiative strategies.
Leads supplier quality activities, such as raw material assessments, the design of contract‑manufactured items, and/or material packaging.
Supports the team in ensuring that suppliers can meet all requirements related to work transfers and process change management, including PPAP certification.
Ensures that supplier product and process quality meets internal and regulatory standards and continuously improves.
What do you need to be successful? University degree and 10 years of relevant experience.




5 to 10 years of management experience.
Experience with PFMEA and DFMEA (an asset).
Knowledge of PPAP elements (an asset).
Experience conducting process walks and product audits.
In-depth knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
Red‑X / Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Aerospace experience (an asset).
This position is part of a French‑speaking work environment, it requires a very valuable knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
