About The Role We are seeking a Senior Controller to oversee all aspects of financial accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policies while delivering accurate and timely financial statements. This role is responsible for key functions including SOX compliance, monthly financial reporting, account reconciliations, profitability and operational analysis, and audit preparation.
What You'll Do Accounting and Reporting Ensuring accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; enforcing GAAP compliance; reviewing close packages; and maintaining reporting calendars.
Managing the full close cycle, reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analyses; driving continuous improvement to shorten close timelines.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Assist in JJE's annual budgeting process
Respond to inquiries from Senior Leadership and other departmental Senior Managers regarding financial results




Lead and oversee all internal/external audit requests and tax requests
Ad hoc requests as required
Management Managing accounting staff, setting performance expectations, coaching, mentoring, hiring, and building a high-performing finance team and support to enhance their professional growth.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Leading ERP enhancements, automation initiatives, and process redesign to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Champion JJE values and lead a cohesive, engaged accounting team with transparency, holding regular team meetings, and maintaining open communication channels.
Ensure clear, timely communication with senior leadership on emerging issues, including proactive escalation when risks, blockers, or decisions require executive attention
Complete additional tasks and projects assigned
Total Rewards Base salary range: $150,000.00 to $180,000.00 annually
