Program Background The Australian Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific (AIFFP) is supporting some of Papua Current Guinea's most significant transport infrastructure investments. Through a long-term partnership with the Government of Papua New Guinea, AIFFP is helping deliver high-quality infrastructure that strengthens connectivity, supports economic growth and expands opportunities for communities across the country.

Embedded within TSSP3, the AIFFP Project Management Office (PMO) provides strategic leadership, project management and technical oversight for major investments, including the PNG Ports Infrastructure Investment Program and the PNG Roads Project.

please see www.dt-global.com The Role The AIFFP PMO Deputy Project Director is a senior leadership position that will support the Project Director in providing strategic oversight and leadership across AIFFP funded transport investments in Papua New Guinea.

Working closely with senior leaders from the Australian High Commission, AIFFP, PNG Ports Corporation Limited, the Department of Works and Highways, consultants, contractors and other key stakeholders, you will help guide nationally significant infrastructure investments that will have a lasting impact on Papua New Guinea's future.

The role is responsible for

- Providing strategic leadership across major infrastructure investments.

- Leading program delivery, governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement activities.

- Supporting procurement, contract management and financial oversight.

- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and specialist advisers.

- Building solid partnerships across government, industry and development partners.

- Supporting the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects that contribute to Papua New Guinea's long term development objectives.

About You

We are seeking an exceptional Papua New Guinean professional with a strong track record of leading large scale infrastructure, engineering, construction or development programs.

To be successful, you will bring

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction, project management, business, international development or a related discipline.

- At least ten years of senior experience managing complex projects, programs or infrastructure investments.

- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and specialist advisers.

- Strong experience in infrastructure delivery, contract administration, procurement, governance and risk management.

- Sound commercial,



financial and strategic judgement.

- The ability to build trusted relationships with senior government, donor and private sector stakeholders.

- Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills.

- A collaborative leadership style and commitment to developing others.
