Role Title: Civil/Structural Engineer

We are engaging Civil / Structural Engineers to contribute to an impactful customer project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

1. Create, review, and refine detailed civil and structural drawing sets, including plans, elevations, sections, and schedules, using BIM tools such as Revit or ArchiCAD.
2. Author and manage BIM models, ensuring accurate representation of complex or multi-building projects and full compliance with relevant code families (Eurocode, ACI, ASCE, IS, BS, etc.).
3. Export and validate IFC files (IFC 2x3 or IFC4), confirming geometry, classification, and mapping integrity for design coordination and data interoperability.
4. Document and communicate technical decisions and design rationale clearly through written and verbal channels, with a focus on clarity and precision.
5. Contribute real-world insights by evaluating project requirements, identifying constructability issues, and suggesting improvements based on professional experience.
6. Assess and provide feedback on the functionality and usability of BIM tools or data workflows.

Deliver high-quality domain input that will directly inform the training and evaluation of AI-powered engineering solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture (Master’s degree preferred).
2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, post-degree practice authoring complete drawing sets and leading model development, not limited to markups or reviews.
3. At least 3 years of daily, expert-level BIM authoring experience in Revit, ArchiCAD, or BlenderBIM, including experience with IFC export and validation.
4. Direct experience in projects requiring multidisciplinary coordination and delivery of complex or multi-building solutions.
5. Demonstrated code literacy, with the ability to reference and apply Eurocode, ACI, ASCE, IS, or BS standards in design work.
6. Fluency in written and spoken English, with a solid focus on precise articulation and clarity in technical communication.
7. Nice to have: Professional licensing (PE, CEng, Chartered), experience with openBIM scripting (ifcopenshell, Python), knowledge of clash detection/model checking (Navisworks, Solibri), engineering analysis tools (ETABS, SAP2000, Robot, Tekla), custom BIM families, or prior data annotation for AI projects.
