We are hiring for a permanent part-time 0.80fte Community Rehabilitation Assistant in Kamloops. This position requires driving within the Kamloops area and you are required to hold a valid B.C. Driver’s License and may be required to drive a personal car on mileage and/or be assigned a fleet vehicle as a condition of employment. This position may be redeployed to support other operational areas if required.

About The Role

Under the clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, the Community Rehabilitation Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the client.

The Community Rehabilitation

Assistant carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assists the therapist in monitoring and evaluating patients/residents’ progression.

Assistant assists clients with activities of daily living, and implements group and individual therapy programs in clients homes and other community sites.
