Overview

NT Painting & Decoration Inc. is a Winnipeg-based construction company specializing in residential and commercial painting, drywall finishing, restoration, and property management-related projects.

Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Project Coordinator, where your organizational skills and construction expertise will drive the successful delivery of complex projects. In this role, you will coordinate project activities, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure that all phases of construction progress smoothly, on time, and within scope. This is a fast-paced coordination role that requires strong follow-through, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple active jobs without losing track of details.

Responsibilities

Duties may include

- Coordinating active painting, drywall, construction, and restoration projects
- Scheduling employees, subcontractors, site visits, and project start dates
- Confirming job readiness, including access, keys, lockboxes, site details, and client/caretaker arrangements
- Reviewing scopes of work and ensuring crews and subcontractors understand project expectations
- Coordinating materials, equipment, deliveries, and subcontractor requirements
- Communicating with clients, property managers, restoration companies, suppliers, crews, subcontractors, and internal staff
- Monitoring project progress and following up on outstanding items
- Helping resolve scheduling, staffing, material, or job-site issues
- Maintaining accurate job updates, schedules, notes, and project documentation




- Providing daily updates and end-of-day reports on active jobs
- Supporting internal process improvements as the company grows

Requirements

Applicants must have

- 3 years of experience in construction coordination, project coordination, project administration, or a similar construction operations role
- Strong understanding of construction workflow and project sequencing
- Excellent organization and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple active projects and deadlines
- Strong communication skills with clients, crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and office staff
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, project management software, and mobile communication tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid authorization to work in Canada

Preferred Experience

- Experience in any of the following would be considered an asset:
- Painting, drywall, restoration, or renovation coordination
- Property management or insurance-related construction work
- Scheduling crews or subcontractors
- Coordinating materials, deliveries, or site access
- Preparing job updates, work orders, or project reports
- Working with project management software
