Edmonton Zone Continuing Care provides services through five main program areas: Home Living, Supportive Living, Facility Living, Transition Services and Palliative Care. We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our Home Living team to provide professional support services in the homes of clients of all ages and stages of life. This position works within a cooperative multidisciplinary team consisting of various healthcare professionals from the nursing and allied health professions. The team collaborates and conducts home or site visits to deliver client‑centered services to individuals with a wide variety of physical, cognitive, and mental health conditions, including complex health needs. Using strong clinical and interpersonal skills, you will implement physiotherapy services in accordance with regulatory and AHS practice standards, using best practice and a client-centered approach, engaging the client, family/caregivers, physicians, broader health care team and other internal program or external agencies as indicated. Physiotherapy services may encompass any combination of direct therapeutic interventions, appropriate education, and/or connection to needed resources.
