Health Care Aide

Richmond Lodge Retirement Residence

Richmond Lodge Retirement Residence is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Health Care Aides to join our team. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing quality care and supporting the health, safety, and well-being of our residents.

The successful candidates will assist residents with their daily living needs while promoting independence, dignity, and a comfortable living environment.

Available Shifts

We are currently hiring for the following shifts:

- Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Evening Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Availability to work every other weekend is required for both shifts.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide compassionate, respectful, and individualized care in accordance with residents' needs and care plans.
- Monitor residents' well-being and promptly report and document any changes or concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable workplace for residents.
- Follow established health and safety procedures, infection prevention practices, and residence policies.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the health care team to ensure residents receive consistent, quality care.
- Other duties as required.





Qualifications & Requirements
- Must have a reliable means of transportation to and from the residence for scheduled shifts.
- Must be available to work every other weekend.
- Must possess valid CPR certification or be willing to obtain prior to commencing employment.
- Must provide a copy of valid CPR certification for the residence's records before starting work.
- Must be willing to complete all required onboarding and orientation training.
- Must be willing to complete all mandatory recurring annual training requirements throughout employment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- A compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to resident care.
