Royal Malabar Indian Cuisine – Downtown London, Ontario

Royal Malabar Indian Cuisine is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join our restaurant team.

Responsibilities:

- Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing and kitchen areas.
- Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and ingredients.
- Keep kitchen floors, work surfaces, sinks, and equipment clean and sanitary.
- Assist with garbage and recycling disposal.
- Help with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen supplies when required.
- Support cooks and other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
- Follow proper food safety, hygiene,



and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen cleaning duties.

Requirements:

- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
