Job Title: Marketing Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Compensation: $100,000-$110,000 per year

Reports To: Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Location: Waterloo, Ontario

Activa is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives that support our homebuilding and rental communities across Waterloo Region. This is an opportunity to lead a talented team, shape campaigns, strengthen our brand, and make a direct impact on business growth.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support community launches, events, and other promotional activities.

The successful candidate will be required to produce a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Judicial Matters Check in the original format and dated within one (1) month of the conditional offer from Activa group of companies.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support a small marketing team, providing coaching, direction, and day-to-day guidance.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns for new home communities, rental properties, launches, and events.
- Manage digital marketing activities, including websites, social media, email marketing, online advertising, and lead generation.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all customer-facing materials and channels.
- Review marketing performance and use data to improve campaign results and return on investment.
- Work closely with sales, rental, and leadership teams to support business goals.




- Manage marketing budgets and relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners.
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements

- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive marketing experience, including developing and executing marketing strategies and managing budgets.
- Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and developing team members.
- Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Pardot, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Adobe Creative Cloud, and social media platforms.
- Experience in residential construction, real estate, property management, or rental housing is an asset.
