Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Millwright Technician to join our team in Wellesley, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine, preventative, and emergency mechanical maintenance on industrial production machinery, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

- Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment malfunctions, mechanical failures, and operational issues efficiently to minimize shop downtime.

- Installation & Assembly: Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to assemble, align, and install new machinery and structural components.

- Precision Fitting: Operate shop equipment (drills, grinders, welding units, precision measuring tools)



to fabricate or modify custom parts as needed.

- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to occupational health and safety regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and company procedures.

- Documentation: Keep detailed service records of completed maintenance work, component replacements, and equipment inspections.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Certification/Trade: Certified Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A red seal or equivalent trade certification preferred).

- Experience: Proven experience working as a Millwright in a manufacturing, production, or industrial facility.

- Technical Skills: Robust knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, pumps, gearboxes, and precision alignment tools.

- Problem Solving: Ability to read technical drawings and independently troubleshoot complex mechanical systems.

- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varied industrial conditions, and perform physical tasks comfortably.
