Location: Bradford, Ontario

Schedule: Part-Time (Evenings and occasional weekends)

Ownership: Privately owned, optician-led small business

Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive eye exams to evaluate vision and identify ocular conditions
- Prescribe corrective lenses and offer guidance on eye care
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients on effective eye health practices




- Accurately document patient information using medical terminology
- Provide specialized care for pediatric and senior patients
- Use Epic or similar electronic health record systems for documentation

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure to practice optometry
- Deep understanding of optical principles and practices
- Experience in eyewear and contact lens sales is a plus
- Proficiency in optometric medical terminology
- Compassionate care for patients of all ages, including pediatric and senior care
