Westland Insurance Group Ltd. is growing, and we're looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented professional to join our People & Performance team as a People & Performance Operations Specialist at our Head Office in Surrey, BC.

In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering exceptional People Operations support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring a seamless experience for employees, leaders, and stakeholders. You'll drive operational excellence through process improvement, data integrity, workforce planning initiatives, M&A; support, and the use of technology and automation to enhance service delivery.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $56,800 to $71,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

Why we’ll love You:
- You have 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, HR Administration, HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, or a related HR function
- You have a strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR operations best practices
- You are experienced working with HRIS platforms, preferably Dayforce
- You excel at managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy improving processes
- You have experience creating reports, tracking tools, procedures, and job aids
- You are a collaborative communicator who delivers exceptional service to employees, leaders, and stakeholders

Once here, you'll:
- Coordinate complex employee lifecycle transactions including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, leaves, and terminations
- Support employees and leaders through the AskHR service model by researching and resolving HR-related inquiries
- Maintain employee records, documentation, and data integrity across HR systems
- Develop and maintain process documentation, job aids, dashboards, and operational reports
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve People Operations processes
- Support workforce planning initiatives, including immigration support programs and related tracking activities
- Assist with People & Performance workstreams during mergers, acquisitions, and employee integrations
