We are looking for an experienced Software Developer – Front End – Intermediate with hands-on expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, RESTful APIs, Java, JavaScript, responsive web application development, and modern front-end technologies. The ideal candidate will have current development experience working within large organizations and big teams, with strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, responsive design, front-end testing, debugging, page-load optimization, version control, AODA/WCAG compliance, and enterprise application development.

Must Have

- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with React framework and TypeScript.

- Working knowledge of Jamstack Architecture.
- Must have current/hands-on development experience.
- Hands-on experience with responsive design, front-end testing and debugging techniques, page-load optimization and version control.

Description

Responsibilities

- Designing, developing and implementing front-end code including user interface interactions and creating attractive and effective user interfaces.
- Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
- Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.

- Experience in programming and analysis; specialized software package support at the specified experience level.
- Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications.

Front End Skills

- Knowledge and experience coding and using basic artwork to deliver a complete user interface.
- Experience creating web interfaces for large websites.
- Experienced with complex large-scale systems.
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with responsive frameworks.
- Experience with Social Media APIs.
- Experience defining product strategy and roadmap.
- Experience working with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities, runs beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples, and becomes an expert with respect to the competition.

Desirable Skills

- Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications.
- Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.

- 1+ years of demonstrated experience with the use of Java language.

- Hibernate/JPA.

Technical Skills – 40%

- React – 1+.
- RESTful Web Services – 1+.
- JavaScript – 1+.
- TypeScript – 1+.
- HTML 5.0, CSS – 1+.
- Node such as NPM – 1+.
- Spring Framework (MVC, Security, JPA, Boot).
- Bitbucket – 1+.
- Experience with Responsive Web Application Development.
- Maven.

Oracle Database Knowledge and Experience – 15%

- DB SQL including DB Objects such as Tables, Views, Sequences, Stored Procedure, Functions, Triggers – 1 Year+.
- 1+ years of experience in Oracle database.

AODA Experience – 15%

- Experience with AODA/WCAG 2.0 AA a must.
- Demonstrated experience with AODA compliance.

Soft Skills – 10%
