We are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to support a portfolio of high-profile initiatives within a large Canadian financial services organization.Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Sr. Project Manager in the financial services in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. These opportunities are ideal for accomplished PMs who are comfortable operating in complex enterprise environments, managing multiple workstreams and senior stakeholders, and taking full ownership of projects from planning through execution and closure. We are particularly interested in proactive, highly organized project leaders who can bring structure to ambiguity, anticipate risks before they become issues, and confidently drive stakeholders toward decisions and deliverables. A typical day:

- Lead projects and workstreams from initiation and planning through execution, implementation and closure
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and action items
- Proactively identify delivery risks and clearly communicate potential business and project impacts
- Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, steering committees and executive-level discussions
- Drive decisions, actions and accountability across cross-functional stakeholder groups
- Prepare concise, executive-ready status reports and presentations
- Manage competing priorities and changing requirements while maintaining control of project scope and deliverables
- Coordinate business, technology, operations and other project stakeholders

Successful candidates will have:
- Demonstrated experience leading complex projects within a large enterprise environment




- Strong end-to-end project management capabilities with a track record of independently driving delivery
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong ability to proactively identify, articulate and escalate project risks, issues and dependencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior and executive stakeholders
- Strong meeting facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in environments with changing priorities, evolving requirements and multiple stakeholders
- Ability to translate complex project information into clear, concise and executive-ready updates

Total rewards:
- $100.00 - $130.00 hourly

An ideal candidate has:
- Previous experience within a major Canadian bank or financial institution
- Experience within Wealth Management, Private Wealth, Investments, Insurance, Asset Management or related financial services environments
- Familiarity with enterprise project governance, financial management, risk management and regulatory environments
- Experience supporting large transformation, technology, data or AI-enabled initiatives
- PMP, Agile or other relevant project management certifications
