We are a family in the Griesbach neighbourhood of Edmonton looking for a reliable, patient, and engaged nanny to help care for our three children, ages 7, 1, and newborn. Ours is a busy household, and one of our children has additional support needs, so we are hoping to find someone calm, attentive, and comfortable caring for children of different ages with a structured and thoughtful approach. Experience with neurodivergent children would be a robust asset. This is a full-time nanny position with flexible hours, generally totaling 30 to 40 hours per week. The schedule may include mornings, middle of the day, and evenings from Monday through Saturday, with regular needs around 7-9 am and 3-7 pm. We are open to both live-in and live-out arrangements, and we would like someone to start as soon as possible. The role includes: - Full-day care for the children, including meals, naps, and daily routines - Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and outdoor time - Bathing and dressing the children - Cooking for the family - Light housekeeping related to childcare - Keeping the kitchen tidy - Family laundry - General house cleaning - Clear and consistent communication with us as parents We are looking for someone who: - Has previous nanny or childcare experience - Can provide references - Is patient, dependable, and punctual - Is comfortable with a flexible schedule - Has current First Aid/CPR certification, or is willing to obtain it - Can provide a clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector check A driver's licence is not required for this position, and automobile use is not applicable.
