Spectrum Eyecare & Eyewear is an independent, multi-doctor optometry practice and eyewear boutique in Fredericton, NB, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, personable and detail-oriented Optical Sales & Dispensing Specialist/Optometric Assistant to join our growing team.

The Prospect

This is a full-time position with one evening per week and no weekend hours.

You’ll play an important role in helping our patients find eyewear that fits their vision needs, lifestyle and personal style. Your responsibilities will include:

- Helping patients select frames and lenses that meet their visual, lifestyle and aesthetic needs
- Taking accurate measurements and completing fittings and adjustments
- Dispensing eyewear and ensuring a comfortable, precise fit
- Entering and managing eyewear orders
- Performing repairs and troubleshooting eyewear issues
- Providing exceptional, personalized patient service throughout the eyewear journey
- Working collaboratively with our optometrists, optical team and front-end team to create a seamless patient experience

Optical experience is an asset, but we’re also interested in the right person who brings the attitude, personality and willingness to learn that fits our team.

Compensation

Salary will be based on education, qualifications and experience.
