Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical office settings, with strong administrative skills and familiarity with electronic medical records systems. This role involves providing exceptional front desk support, managing patient interactions, and ensuring smooth office operations. Candidates with proficiency in English / Tagalog language will be highly valued. Experience in sales / Spa services / training in drawing blood (phlebotomy) in Ontario is recommended.

Responsibilities

- Greet patients and visitors professionally at the front desk, providing excellent customer service
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages
- Maintain and update electronic medical records using systems such as Epic and Dentrix
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and prepare necessary documentation for appointments
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry,



and managing office supplies
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients
- Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations and office policies
- Handle billing processes processing when required

Qualifications

- Prior experience as a Medical Office Assistant is preferred
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems such as Telus is desirable
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards
- Office experience with familiarity in front desk operations and administrative tasks
- Excellent communication skills, including experience managing multi-line phone systems
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience in sales / Spa services / drawing blood samples

Job Type: Part-time
