TD Precision Steelworks Ltd is a leading supplier of precision and structural metal components and value-added services to customers throughout the lower mainland and interior of BC.

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Plasma Table Operator for afternoon shifts. TD Steel is also willing to train the right candidate for this position.

Afternoon shifts consist of 10-hour shifts Monday to Thursday from 2:30 PM to 1 AM.

Job Responsibilities:

· Load and unload material on and off the burn tables in an organized manner

· Safe operation of forklifts, overhead cranes, and hand-held tools

· Completion of pre-burn checklist and product quality

· Record heat numbers and crop inventory

· Labels parts correctly

· Follow all safety guidelines and ensure safe operations of all equipment and shop activity

To be our successful candidate you would need to have:

· High school

· Experience in the metal fabrication industry

· Ability to accurately read a tape measure

· Overhead crane and forklift experience

· Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to stand for extended periods

· Understanding of quality control procedures used during machine operation

· Organized and able to multitask

· A positive attitude,



self-motivated with a strong work ethic

· Punctual and reliable

· Good hand eye coordination

· Able to meet tight deadlines in a semi repetitive, rapid paced, fun and professional environment

· Ability to work independently and as a team, self-starter and energetic

· Competent English skills.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

- Metal Shop: 1 year (required)
- Plasma Table: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
