Senior AutoCAD Detailer – Architectural Millwork

Mississauga, ON | Full-time, Permanent | $70,000–$85,000 per year

A well-established custom architectural millwork and store-fixture manufacturer is seeking a Senior AutoCAD Detailer to join its on-site engineering team in Mississauga.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how to turn architectural drawings and design intent into accurate, fabrication-ready millwork shop drawings. You will support commercial interior, retail-fixture, cabinetry, and custom millwork projects from design-assist through production release and installation coordination.

What you’ll do

- Produce detailed AutoCAD shop drawings for custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, retail fixtures, and interior components.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, and isometric or 3D views where required.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, field measurements, and design intent.
- Develop fabrication and installation details, including materials, finishes, hardware, joinery, dimensions, and construction methods.
- Coordinate drawing revisions with project managers, designers, production, and installation teams.
- Identify constructability issues early and help resolve technical questions before fabrication.




- Maintain complete and accurate drawing packages through approval, revision, and shop release.
- Support design-assist work and drawing QA/QC.

What you bring

- Direct experience detailing custom architectural millwork, commercial cabinetry, retail fixtures, or interior fit-out projects.
- Strong AutoCAD skills and experience producing fabrication-ready shop drawings.
- Practical knowledge of millwork materials, joinery, hardware, finishes, and fabrication methods.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and create clear, buildable details.
- Strong attention to dimensions, coordination, and drawing accuracy.
- Experience with Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, Mozaik, SolidWorks, or related millwork/CAD-CAM software is an asset.
- Experience with CNC-ready files, BOMs, cut lists, or production documentation is an asset.
- Ability to work in office in Mississauga.
