Duties

- Assist with daily feeding routines, ensuring all swine receive proper nutrition according to schedule
- Monitor animal health by observing behavior and physical condition, reporting any concerns promptly
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of pig pens, equipment, and surrounding areas to maintain hygiene standards
- Operate farm machinery such as feed mixers, tractors, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Handle heavy lifting of feed bags, equipment parts, and livestock when necessary to support daily operations
- Support breeding, farrowing (birthing),



and weaning processes with care and precision
- Maintain accurate records of animal health, feed schedules, and environmental conditions to ensure compliance with farm protocols

Requirements

- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating farm machinery is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the workday
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels
- Basic understanding of livestock care practices or eagerness to learn about animal husbandry
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures
- Prior experience on a farm or with farm machinery is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $21.00 per hour
