Apply now to join our team of elite Security Officers and Concierges at commercial high rise office towers and corporate buildings in Downtown Vancouver!We are looking for experienced Security Guards for high profile sites in our commercial office portfolio. As a member of the Paladin Security Team, you will receive best-in-class training, earn competitive pay rates ( $19.5/hr and up with many locations paying $23/hr ), and gain invaluable experience for your career! In this role you will be:
• Providing exceptional customer service and assistance and sustain effective relationships with clients, tenants, and patrons
• Writing clear and detailed reports including incident, first aid, and daily reports
• Watching for and report irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations and contact emergency responders as required
• Providing first aid and medical response when required
• Performing regular foot patrols to ensure personnel, building and equipment security
• Utilizing two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities.
• Exercising crowd control and evicting trespassers
• Surveillance, regular patrols, & alarm responses of client facilities, being vigilant of unauthorized entry.
• Access control, granting or denying access to the facility based on established procedures




What you will need:
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong observational skills
• Ability to make immediate decisions, while maintaining composure in emergency response situations with minimal supervision
• Ability to walk up to 15km per shift, up and down stairs
• Maintain exceptional qualified deportment
• Security License and Occupational First Aid (Full training provided by Paladin Security)
