Delivery Driver

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Location: Beechville, NS
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Optional Overtime: Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (not mandatory)
Start Date: Immediate

Nova Staffing is currently searching for a dependable Delivery Driver to join a busy team in Beechville, Nova Scotia. This role involves delivering tires to automotive shops and dealerships throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, providing excellent customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a company van or cube truck to complete scheduled deliveries
- Load, transport, and unload tires at customer locations
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle




- Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with general delivery and warehouse duties as required

Qualifications

- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate a van or cube truck
- Physically capable of lifting, loading, and unloading tires throughout the day
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Safety-conscious and professional
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Previous delivery, driving, warehouse, or logistics experience is considered an asset
