The Job

As a Houseperson, you're the essential force that keeps the hotel looking its best and running smoothly. From sparkling clean lobbies to fully stocked linen closets and quick guest deliveries, you’ll be everywhere making everything perfect! You’ll support our housekeeping team, respond to guest requests with a smile, and help maintain the high standards that keep guests coming back.

What You'll Do

- Start each shift by preparing your cart and gathering the supplies you’ll need for a smooth and successful day.
- Keep hotel lobbies, entrances, and exits looking clean, welcoming, and ready to make a great first impression.
- Clean, sanitize, and restock public washrooms throughout the day.
- Make public areas shine by cleaning glass surfaces and keeping the Business Centre tidy, organized, and well-lit.
- Keep the Fitness Room fresh and guest-ready by vacuuming, dusting, replenishing towels and water, and removing garbage.
- Maintain clean and polished guestroom corridors by vacuuming carpets and dusting walls, baseboards, and trim.
- Check front and rear stairwells regularly and take care of any litter, spills, cobwebs, or dust.
- Keep housekeeping pantries fully stocked with paper products, bottled water, and other essential supplies.
- Give carpets and upholstery a refresh using the appropriate shampooing and cleaning procedures.
- Help keep the Front Desk, back offices, and administrative spaces clean and organized.
- Inspect and refresh meeting rooms and event spaces so they are ready to welcome the next group.
- Jump in to assist with cleaning or refreshing guestrooms when needed.
- Lend a hand to the Laundry team by washing, folding, or distributing linens.
- Collect garbage and recycling from housekeeping pantries and ensure everything is properly sorted and disposed of.
- Help the Front Desk deliver towels, cots, cribs, and other requested items to guests when requested

The above areas of responsibility are not all inclusive and may be amended from time to time.

team-oriented person who is willing to jump in and support Housekeeping, Laundry, and Front Desk operations when needed.
- A friendly and professional individual who is comfortable interacting with guests and responding to their requests.
- Someone with a strong eye for detail who notices when an area needs attention, supplies are running low, or something is out of place.
- A self-motivated person who can prioritize tasks, manage their time, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Someone who takes pride in creating clean, organized, and welcoming spaces.
- A safety-conscious individual who follows cleaning procedures, uses equipment properly, and reports hazards promptly.
- The flexibility to move between different responsibilities and adjust priorities throughout the shift.
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, or customer-service experience is an asset, but we are happy to train the right person.
- The ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, pushing carts, and remaining on your feet for extended periods.
- Availability to work a versatile schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required
