Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and math calculations
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and workstations in compliance with sanitation regulations
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction





Requirements

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or transactions efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling techniques
- Kitchen experience or serving background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
