We are looking for an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. Having sandblasting experience is not needed but welcomed. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment and is skilled in surface preparation, spray application, and working with industrial coatings to meet high quality and durability standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces using sandblasting, cleaning, buffing, sanding, and masking techniques
- Apply coatings using conventional spray equipment
- Mix paints and coatings to required specifications
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain painting equipment and a clean, organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of industrial painting experience
- Experience with epoxy, enamel, or other industrial coatings
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable working in a shop workplace




- Knowledge of surface preparation standards
- Familiarity with coating thickness measurement tools (DFT gauges)
- Overhead or jib crane experience is an asset

Physical & Safety Requirements

- Must be able to wear a respirator for blasting and painting (respirator fit test to be done which requires you to be clean-shaven)
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and maintain a positive attitude
- Proficiency in verbal and written English, including the ability to interpret fabrication drawings
