We are looking to hire 10 Walkie/Center Rider/Reach Truck Operator/General Labours with atleast 1.5 years of experience for our client in the Food Industry.

This position is a hybrid role that includes both operating a Walkie/Center Rider/Reach Truck and doing General Laborer work.

The ideal candidate will safely and efficiently be picking orders using scanners, support production needs, and ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Please note that some details may be missing from the post that will be explained once a recruiter contacts you. Below are general responsibilities and qualifications we are seeking and require.

Responsibilities

- Candidates will operate a Walkie/Center Rider/Reach Truck to pick orders at an average rate of 100 cases per hour
- Candidates will be using a RF scanner to assist with thier picking
- The ideal candidates must be able to do General Labor as majority of the role will be General Labour with some portions utilzing Walkie/Center Rider/Reach Truck.
- This position requires consistent heavy lifting from 50 -70 lbs.
- Candidates will be working in the cold/freezer environment so must be able to work in colder temperatures such as below 4 degrees (Could be colder in winter time)
- Will be opening and packing Meat boxes. Therefore must be able to work with meat with no restricitons.
- Candidates will transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility.
- Candidates will maintain a safe and organized work area, following company and safety guidelines.
- Candidates will support warehouse and production staff as needed.




- Candidates will accurately complete paperwork or system entries related to material movement.
- Candidates must be able to work in a rapid paced setting
- Candidates must be able to work long term

Qualifications:

- Must have valid WORKPERMIT or PR or CITIZENSHIP
- Must have a valid 1.5 year Walkie/Center Rider/Reach Truck Rider License
- Previous 1-2 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments
- Candidates must be able to work long term
- Ability to operate a walkie/reach truck and pick orders at an average rate of 100 cases per hour
- Experience using scanners and picking weighted items is an asset
- Comfortable working in a freezer environment (below 4 degrees)
- Able to lift approximately 50–70 lbs consistent
- Safety shoes and warm clothing are required
- No jewelry is permitted on site
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work shifts consistently

Shift Details:

- Shift timings and shift days will change on week to week basis. Must be flexible.
- Ideal candidate must be available to work both day and night shift and must have 7 day availability as the schedule will keep changing.
- Shift schedule will consist of 4-5 working days which include 8 to 10 hours shift (shift may be longer when required)
