Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, secure, and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and freight movements
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to coordinate freight handling and ensure productive loading/unloading processes




- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime during deliveries
- Follow all safety protocols and report any incidents or hazards promptly

Requirements

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and perform basic automotive repairs
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy vehicle operation and freight handling
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and load securing
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, climb in/out of trucks, and perform manual tasks as needed
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and dispatchers

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
