Grow Your Commercial Real Estate Career with Commercially

Calgary, Alberta | Real Estate Partners × Real Broker

Commercially is growing its commercial real estate business, and we’re looking for an experienced commercial professional who wants to develop their practice within a collaborative, well-supported team.

Backed by Real Estate Partners (REPYYC) and operating through Real Broker, Commercially brings together commercial real estate services, property research, technology, marketing, and an established network of agents and clients. Commercially

Our focus is on creating an environment where agents can build lasting client relationships, deepen their expertise, and grow their careers—with people and resources behind them.

We’re looking for someone who wants to contribute their commercial experience, take an active role in serving clients, and help shape the business as it develops.

What We’ve Built—and What We’re Working On

Our work now extends beyond creating a commercial brand and listing website. We’ve been developing platforms that support different parts of the commercial real estate process: researching properties, understanding business activity, following development applications, comparing lease costs, and connecting clients with professional advice.

These platforms have different purposes and are at different stages of development:

- Commercial property search and leasing: Commercially.ca provides commercial property search, resources for owners, buyers and tenants, and a confidential prospect and requirements process. IndustrialLeasing.ca and WarehouseLeasing.ca add focused industrial research, property discovery, and ways to communicate space requirements. Property records and confirmed availability are kept separate. Commercially
- Property and business research: CommercialData.ca brings together source-linked property information, municipal records, zoning, business activity, development history, and market context. The purpose is to give agents a more organized starting point for understanding a property and identifying what needs further investigation. Commercial Data
- Development and planning intelligence: DevelopmentApplications.ca organizes development applications, land-use changes, building permits, and project histories. It helps users follow municipal activity while keeping proposals, decisions, and issued permits distinct. DevelopmentApplications.ca
- Lease comparison and occupancy costs: LeaseCalculator.ca provides tools for comparing proposals, including base rent, additional rent, increases, incentives, tenant improvements, and move-in costs. It supports clearer conversations about the financial differences between lease options. LeaseCalculator.ca
- Additional research and tools in development: VacancyRates.ca organizes vacancy research with its sources, definitions, and coverage limitations identified. LeaseAI.ca is currently in a preview stage, being developed to organize lease information and identify questions for professional review—not replace an agent’s judgment or legal advice. VacancyRates.ca

We want commercial agents involved in making these resources useful in practice. Your experience can help determine which information matters, where a process needs improvement, and what would make a client conversation or transaction more effective.

You would not be expected to build the technology yourself. We want your professional experience informing the work.

Support for Your Day-to-Day Practice

Through Real Estate Partners, we have marketing, media, administrative, and operational resources that can support your commercial business.

That includes in-house photography, video production, editing, and studio access, alongside help with property presentations, feature sheets, signage, reports, and educational content. Our digital capabilities include website development, landing pages, search marketing, advertising, and content distribution.

Administrative and transaction support, client relationship management systems, inside-sales resources, and lead-follow-up support are also part of the infrastructure available to the business.

You’ll have opportunities to work with agents across REPYYC, serve commercial referrals from existing relationships, and develop business through your own prospecting and network.

The purpose of that support is to give you more capacity for the work that requires your expertise: understanding clients, evaluating opportunities, advising, negotiating, and maintaining relationships.

We also recognize that support needs differ.

An agent developing an industrial leasing practice may need different research, marketing, and processes than someone focused on investment sales or owner-user acquisitions. We want to build around those needs rather than assume one approach works for everyone.

Room to Develop Your Own Expertise and Reputation

We want the people within Commercially to grow professionally—not simply handle transactions under a shared name.

That means making room for you to develop a specialization, strengthen your client relationships, and become known for the quality of your work.

Your focus might be industrial, retail, office, land, development, multi-family investment, landlord representation, tenant representation, or owner-user properties. You do not need to be equally experienced in every sector. We’re interested in understanding where you already add value and where you want to develop further.

Our marketing and content team can help you share that expertise through market commentary, property analysis, educational resources, presentations, and video. The goal is to make your knowledge accessible to the people you serve, in a format that suits you.

We also want your input into the business itself. That could include improving how referrals are handled, shaping research priorities, developing a sector-specific service, or refining the client experience.

We want to empower agents with useful resources, responsibility, and a meaningful voice in how their practice develops.

The Experience We’re Looking For

This opportunity is intended for a licensed professional with meaningful commercial real estate experience who is ready to take responsibility for client relationships and transactions.

You should be comfortable developing business, assessing incoming opportunities, researching properties and comparable transactions, preparing recommendations, negotiating terms, and coordinating due diligence.

Disciplined follow-up, clear communication, sound judgment, and respect for confidentiality are significant. So is a willingness to collaborate with agents whose clients may need commercial expertise.

We value someone who can work independently while contributing to a team—sharing knowledge, asking thoughtful questions, and helping improve the way we work.

Technology and marketing can support a practice, but we’re looking for someone who understands that the professional relationships and work behind a transaction still matter most.

Working Together

You’ll work closely with Slav Loban, Operations Manager, our leadership team, and agents throughout Real Estate Partners.

The structure is intentionally flexible. Our initial conversations would focus on your experience, current practice, areas of interest, support needs, and how we could work together effectively. Responsibilities, collaboration, and compensation would be discussed directly.

We’re interested in building a working relationship that supports your long-term commercial career while contributing to the continued development of Commercially.

The Websites and Tools Behind Commercially

Alongside our commercial real estate practice, we’re building a network of specialized websites, research platforms, and tools. Each has a different role—from helping clients explore properties to supporting research, comparing lease proposals, and connecting people with our agents.

Commercial Property Search and Leasing

Commercially.ca — Our Main Commercial Real Estate Platform
The central home of Commercially, bringing together commercial property search, private opportunities, client requirements, educational resources, and decision-making tools. It connects people researching commercial real estate with our team and the wider platform. Calgary Commercial Agent

IndustrialLeasing.ca — Industrial Leasing Research and Requirements
A specialized industrial platform covering warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, flex, and yard requirements. It provides property-type guidance, market context, and a confidential way for businesses to explain what they need—or for owners to introduce an opportunity.

IndustrialLeasing.ca

WarehouseLeasing.ca — Warehouse Discovery and Property Research
A warehouse-focused platform combining physical property records, market profiles, operating-fit tools, and structured space requirements. It helps users research buildings and compare potential locations while keeping property records separate from verified space availability. Warehouse Leasing

Commercial Research and Market Information

CommercialData.ca — Commercial Property and Business Intelligence
A Canadian research platform connecting property and building records with zoning, permits, development activity, business information, and other source-backed records. Calgary and Alberta provide its deepest connected coverage, alongside an expanding collection of Canadian property and municipal research systems. Commercial Data

DevelopmentApplications.ca — Development, Permit, and Land-Use Research
A platform for researching development applications, land-use changes, building permits, and project histories. Current coverage includes Calgary, Edmonton, and Ottawa. It connects related municipal records while distinguishing between a proposal, an approval, an issued permit, and evidence of construction. DevelopmentApplications.ca

VacancyRates.ca — Vacancy Research and Market Comparisons
A research platform organizing vacancy information by geography, property type, source, and reporting period. It includes historical residential rental data and a separate commercial research framework, with commercial coverage clearly limited by available sources and data permissions. VacancyRates.ca

Lease Tools and Technology

LeaseCalculator.ca — Commercial Lease Cost Comparisons
A working calculator for comparing commercial lease proposals beyond the advertised rent. Users can account for additional rent, scheduled increases, free-rent periods, tenant-improvement allowances, landlord contributions, parking, and other occupancy costs to understand how different proposals compare. LeaseCalculator.ca

LeaseAI.ca — Commercial Lease Information and Issue-Spotting
A tool in development to organize lease wording into plain-language information about costs, obligations, important dates, and questions for qualified professionals. The public preview and sample analysis are live; document uploads are not yet enabled. Its purpose is to support professional review, not replace it. LeaseAI

Calgary-Focused Websites and Professional Profiles

CalgaryCommercialRealEstate.ca — Calgary Commercial Property and Advisory Services
Our Calgary-focused commercial real estate website, covering office, retail, industrial, and investment property needs. It introduces the Commercially team’s services to local tenants, landlords, owners, and investors. Commercially

CalgaryIndustrialRealEstate.ca — Calgary Industrial Property Specialization
A dedicated Calgary industrial website covering warehouse, distribution, and flex-industrial property, alongside guides to local industrial areas. It provides a more specialized starting point for businesses and owners whose needs centre on industrial real estate. Calgary Industrial Real Estate

CalgaryCommercialAgent.ca — Local Agent Profile and Client Connection
A professional-profile website currently featuring Slav Loban as a Calgary contact for Commercially. It explains the team’s approach to acquisitions, dispositions, tenant representation, landlord representation, and investment inquiries, with a direct path to start a conversation. Calgary Commercial Agent

CommercialBrokerage.ca — Professional Profile and Commercial Approach
A supporting website presenting Slav’s brokerage profile, approach to commercial real estate decisions, and role within the wider Commercially network. Its role is to introduce the professional and process behind the service, rather than function as another property-search portal. Calgary Commercial Agent

How We Want Agents to Use These Resources

Our intention is to give agents practical resources they can use in their own work: researching a property, preparing for a client meeting, understanding a business’s space requirements, comparing proposals, or explaining a market.

We also want agents involved in their continued development. Your experience should help determine which information is useful, which tools need improvement, and where we should focus next.

The goal is to support your expertise and the growth of your commercial practice—not expect you to build the technology, research systems, and online presence on your own.

Pay: $25,000.00-$222,500.00 per year
