About us
Pureoyl Healthcare is a growing Ontario-based cosmetic and wellness product company. Today, our products are sold primarily through online marketplaces. We're now expanding into contract manufacturing — producing private-label and white-label cosmetic and health products for other brands, retailers, and entrepreneurs — and we're hiring an entry-level Business Development Representative to help build that side of the business from the ground up.
About the role
This role is focused on winning new contract manufacturing clients: brand owners, private-label startups, retailers, and distributors who need a manufacturing partner for cosmetic or health products. You'll identify prospects, pitch our production capabilities, and help convert interest into signed manufacturing agreements. You'll start on an initial 3-6 month contract, with the intention of converting to full-time for a candidate who shows they can build a real client pipeline in this new business line. No prior contract manufacturing or pharma experience required — what matters most is hustle, the ability to explain our capabilities clearly to prospective clients, and comfort being told "no" on the way to a "yes."
What you'll do
- Prospect and identify potential contract manufacturing clients — emerging beauty/wellness brands, private-label sellers, retailers, and distributors looking to outsource production
- Pitch Pureoyl's manufacturing capabilities (production capacity, formulation options, packaging, turnaround times, regulatory compliance) to prospective clients
- Manage inbound and outbound leads through the sales cycle, from initial inquiry to signed contract
- Coordinate with our production/operations team to prepare quotes, samples,
and proposals for prospective clients
- Negotiate contract terms, minimum order quantities, and pricing
- Track pipeline and client activity in our CRM
- Represent Pureoyl Healthcare at trade shows and industry events to generate new contract manufacturing leads
- Maintain relationships with signed clients to encourage repeat and expanded orders
What we're looking for
- 0–2 years of sales, business development, or account management experience (B2B, cold-calling, or industrial/manufacturing sales exposure is a strong plus)
- A "hunter" mentality — comfortable prospecting and opening recent business, especially in a new market segment for the company
- Ability to learn and clearly explain technical/production details to non-technical prospects
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working independently
- Looking for a long-term opportunity — this role is intended to become full-time for the right candidate
- Post-secondary education in business, life sciences, or a related field is an asset but not required
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
What we offer
- $22–$26/hour plus uncapped commission on new contract manufacturing deals during the contract period
- Hands-on training on our manufacturing capabilities and the private-label/contract manufacturing sales process
- A rare opportunity to help build a brand-current revenue line for the company, with real ownership over the client pipeline
- A clear path to full-time employment (with full benefits) for candidates who succeed in growing this business
- Supportive, close-knit team environment
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 per week
Benefits:
- Company car
- On-site parking
Work Location: In person
