We are expanding our Guided Care Journeys—structured virtual healthcare programs designed to help Canadians access clinical assessments, treatment, prescriptions and ongoing support.
Our growing programs include weight management, erectile dysfunction, continuous glucose monitoring and other areas of preventative and ongoing healthcare.
Our goal is simple: make quality healthcare more accessible by connecting clinical care, technology and pharmacy services into one coordinated patient experience.
As we expand our national clinical network, we are looking for experienced Nurse Practitioners to join us on a flexible, part time contractor basis.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for Nurse Practitioners interested in supplementing their existing clinical practice with flexible, remote work.
Through Medvisit's digital platform, you will review patient intake information, conduct asynchronous clinical assessments, communicate with patients through secure messaging and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Unlike traditional virtual care, which often requires scheduled video appointments, our Guided Care Journeys are designed to support asynchronous care, allowing clinicians to review patient cases and provide treatment at times that work around their existing commitments.
Our technology and administrative teams support patient onboarding,



pharmacy coordination and ongoing patient engagement, allowing you to focus on delivering clinical care.
We are currently recruiting Nurse Practitioners licensed in the following provinces:

- Alberta
- Manitoba
- Saskatchewan
- New Brunswick
- Newfoundland and Labrador
- Prince Edward Island
- Quebec

Candidates licensed in multiple provinces are especially encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities

- Review patient intake forms, medical histories and relevant clinical information.
- Conduct asynchronous virtual assessments through Medvisit's secure clinical platform.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with applicable clinical guidelines.
- Prescribe medications, medical devices and diagnostic testing when clinically appropriate and within your authorized scope of practice.
- Provide patient education and follow-up care through secure messaging.
- Identify patients requiring additional assessment, referral or in-person care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with Medvisit's clinical and pharmacy teams to support continuity of care.

Qualifications

- Active Nurse Practitioner registration and authorization to practise in at least one of our target provinces.
- Experience in primary care, family practice, chronic disease management or virtual care.
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort providing independent assessments.
- Experience prescribing and managing medications.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Comfortable working with digital healthcare platforms.




- Appropriate professional liability protection for the services provided.

Experience in weight management, metabolic health, men's health or diabetes management is an asset.
