Extruder Operator – Permanent Full-Time

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company offering excellent compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and excellent employee perks. Our client is currently looking for 2 experienced and mechanically inclined Extruder Operators to join their team.

What You’ll Do

- Set up, operate, and monitor plastics extrusion machinery
- Monitor extrusion processes and make adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency
- Perform quality inspections usingmeasuring equipment
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment or mechanical issues
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist with minimizing production downtime
- Monitor finished products for defects, inconsistencies, and dimensional accuracy
- Safely handle raw materials and finished products
- Operate a forklift as required
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately
- Work closely with Quality Control and Production teams to meet customer specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For

- Previous plastics extrusion experience is highly preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment




- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools
- Ability to read measurements and perform basic mathematical calculations
- Experience with plastics processing, injection molding, or similar manufacturing equipment is an asset
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Safety-conscious with a robust work ethic
- Reliable and comfortable working independently and as part of a team

This position is located in Colborne, Ontario.

This position requires the ability to work rotating 12-hour continental shifts, including days and midnights.

Pay: $25.75-$33.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
