Canadian Erosion & Containment Ltd. (CEC) is seeking a motivated and experienced Hydroseed Applicator / Hydroseed Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating hydroseeding equipment, applying seed and erosion control products, and supporting reclamation, environmental, civil construction, and oil & gas projects throughout Alberta and Western Canada.

Responsibilities

- Operate hydroseeders and related support equipment safely and efficiently.
- Mix and apply seed, fertilizer, mulch, tackifier, and soil amendments according to project specifications.
- Transport and operate hydroseeding units on construction and reclamation sites.
- Perform daily equipment inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance.
- Monitor application rates and ensure quality coverage.
- Read site plans and follow project specifications.
- Assist with erosion control installation, revegetation, and reclamation activities.
- Complete daily reports and equipment inspections.
- Follow all CEC safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- Experience operating hydroseeders is preferred.
- Background in landscaping, reclamation, erosion control,



or construction is an asset.
- Class 3 or Class 1 Licence is considered an asset.
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment maintenance skills.
- Positive attitude and robust work ethic.
- Willingness to travel and work out of town as required.
