OPERATIONS MANAGER

Location: Red Deer, Alberta
Position: Full-Time
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and support the operations of a growing 35+ location tire business across Western Canada.

This is a hands-on position working closely with senior leadership and location managers. The role will focus on improving day-to-day operations, managing projects, addressing operational issues and ensuring initiatives are completed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support day-to-day operations across 35+ locations.
- Work with location managers to identify and address operational issues.
- Manage operational projects and initiatives from start to completion.
- Develop and improve processes, systems and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor operational KPIs, reports and performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency across locations.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and internal departments.
- Track projects, action items and follow-up requirements.
- Provide senior leadership with regular updates and recommendations.
- Assist with other operational priorities and projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- 3–5+ years of operations or management experience.
- Experience working in a multi-location business is an asset.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.




- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong Excel and computer skills.
- Comfortable working with numbers, reports and KPIs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with limited direction.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.

Experience in the tire, automotive, retail, logistics or service industries is an asset.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is an experienced operations professional who is comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities and making decisions. They should be practical, detail-oriented and capable of working with managers and senior leadership to identify issues, implement solutions and improve operational performance.

Strong follow-through, communication and organizational skills are essential.
