Chicko Chicken is a popular Korean Fried Chicken franchise . We pride ourselves on our delicious, fresh, never frozen and made to order fried chicken. Our chicken is prepared daily and flavoured with authentic, Korean sauces and powders.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday opening ( 10:30 am - 5 pm)
- Monday to Friday night shift (5pm -11 pm)
- Weekend availability (4:30 pm - 8:30 pm)

We are seeking attentive, responsible and motivated individuals that possess a keen interest in continuous learning and aptitude in providing efficient but friendly customer service. Expectations are familiarity and comfort working in a fast-paced food service environment, attentiveness and care to ensure accurate order preparation and competence in following clear instructions and feedback. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the food industry, restaurant operations, and developing valuable skills in customer service and food handling.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly using POS systems
- Manage customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service
- Take down phone orders and accurately input customer orders into the in-store POS system
- Wash dishes, trays, pots, pans and utensils with speed and efficiency




- Prep, cut, marinade, and portion raw chicken along with other raw ingredients and vegetables
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, and sanitation practices is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, taking UberEats/ DoorDash/SkipTheDishes delivery orders
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food handling and sanitation
