About Flyover Attractions

Flyover is an award-winning immersive flying theatre experience that transports guests through the planet’s most epic places. The attraction utilizes flight motion seats engineered to swoop, dip and turn, giving guests a feeling of flight, while a 65-foot spherical screen provides guests with an unparalleled fight across iconic locations and natural landscapes. Special effects, including wind, mist and scents, to create an unforgettable entertainment experience. Flyover attractions are located in Chicago; Las Vegas; Reykjavik, Iceland; and Vancouver, Canada.

About the role

As a Custodian at Flyover, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional guest experience by ensuring the attraction remains clean, protected, welcoming, and well maintained. This hands-on role is ideal for an individual who takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and takes initiative in maintaining high standards throughout the facility. The Custodian plays an essential role in supporting facility upkeep, safety, and ensuring Flyover is ready to welcome our guests each day.

Compensation: $24.23CAD/Hourly

What you'll do

Perform routine cleaning and facility upkeep across guest and team areas in accordance with established cleaning schedules and standards.

- Complete and maintain cleaning checklists, maintenance logs, and related documentation accurately and consistently
- Manage garbage collection areas and support recycling practices to maintain clean, organized, and efficient waste-management areas
- Perform minor painting, plumbing,



and general facility upkeep as required
- Maintain cleanliness throughout Ride areas and respond to facility maintenance needs and incidents as they arise
- Monitor, organize, and maintain adequate inventory levels of custodial and facility supplies
- Support other departments with supply retrieval, daily setup, closing activities, and general facility needs
- Support preventative maintenance activities to help maintain the condition, reliability, and overall presentation of the facility
- Receive, organize, and transport deliveries both on-site and off-site as required
- Provide professional assistance to guests and respond to general questions regarding Flyover and Canada Place
- Maintain awareness of current and upcoming events at Flyover and Canada Place to effectively support guests and daily operations
- Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications/Ideal Experience

- Experience in a custodial or light maintenance role is an asset
- Tourism or hospitality industry experience an asset
- Availability to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both indoor and outdoor environment




- Ability to lift loads of up to 50 pounds as necessary
- First Aid certification is an asset
- WHMIS certification is an asset
- Demonstrate exceptional guest service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated with a consistently high level of energy
- Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks needing attention
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills, while possessing flexibility towards different tasks
- Confidence to safely use common hand tools such as hammers, drills, wrenches and screwdrivers
