SRS Signs is a growing sign company looking for dedicated, experienced workers to add to our team. We specialize in full-cycle design, manufacturing, installation and service of all types of commercial signage. From storefront graphics and vehicle wraps, to illuminated channel letters and complete building signage, every job is custom and no two days are the same.

Summary of Position:

SRS Signs is looking for a Yard Worker / Maintenance person. This person must be organized, productive, and place a premium on time management.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Experience operating a forklift, pallet jacks, dollies, etc.
- Skilled in the safe use of power tools including drills, circular saw, reciprocating saw, jigsaw, miter saw, angle grinder, etc.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions closely
- Must be physically able to lift 75 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Self starter who can work effectively with minimal supervision
- Valid class 5 drivers license
- Ability to drive a skid steer an asset

Primary Responsibilities:

- Keeping yard clean,



organized and clear of obstructions/debris
- Receiving and large crates into compound using forklift
- Pick-ups and deliveries of vehicles, tools, supplies, etc.
- Using power tools to cut down large scrap
- Maintaining a clean and orderly shop
- Sorting and putting away tools and stock
- Taking service vehicles for washes
- Driving forklift
- Operating a skid steer for snow clearing purposes
- Calling for garbage and scrap pick-ups
- Other duties as required

We offer competitive wages dependent on experience.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Winnipeg, MB R3E 0P9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- Forklift: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
