Position Overview:

- Responsible for safe methods of hoisting and rigging.
- Accurately and effectively plan hoisting tasks on job sites.
- Ability to proficiently read and understand all aspects of the crane manufacturers recommendations and load charts.
- Conduct preoperational checks.
- Safely maneuver the crane to the designated location, considering factors such as weight, balance, as well as road and weather conditions.
- Complete all necessary documentation,



both pre & post job / hazard assessments
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane.
- Agreement to do other meaningful tasks as assigned by the site supervisors when cranes are not being utilized.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and the general public.

Qualifications:

- Apprentice Boom Truck / Journeyman Red Seal Mobile Crane Ticket (required)
- Valid Class 1 License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract
- Valid First Aid
- Valid H2S
- 3-5 years proven experience with a solid understanding of crane operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes completing multiple lifts/jobs in one day.
- Ability to express a positive attitude in stressful situations / handle stress effectively and constructively.
- Strong understanding of all safety regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
