Title and Authority

Job Title: Factory Operations Associate - Seasonal

Reporting Stucture: This role reports directly to the General Manager. This role has no supervisory or managerial authority and no direct reports.

General Description of the Role

The Seasonal Factory Operations Associate is dedicated to customer service first and foremost. This role is accountable for pulling all online and store orders, and ensuring they are collected accurately from inventory and shipped in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and conscientious of good service to the customer. The Seasonal Factory Operations Associate resolves customer and retail store issues while ensuring inventory is received into the warehouse and moved to factory floor as needed. This role is responsible for helping and working in our Factory Outlet store as well as warehouse. This role is responsible for assisting in all inventory inspections.

Role Accountabilities





- Pull and fulfill all orders made via the e-commerce site for individual and corporate customers.
- Pull and package orders destined for the Cococo Retail Stores.
- Help in person customers as they shop at the Factory Outlet store.
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
- Provide excellent customer service as the first line of communication with customers in person as well as via phone and email.
- Assist in monthly inventory counts.
- Assist with the warehouse accepting and distributing goods for general operations of the plant.

Specific Tasks

- Check the temperatures on the cooler.
- Log into Shopify for orders placed.
- Contact managers for outstanding orders present.
- Pull orders and package; put through shiprush software.
- Assist loading shipment truck for deliveries.
- Assist the warehouse by:
- Accepting and verifying incoming deliveries.
- Preparing and processing outgoing deliveries to other stores.
- Making sure all supplies and food are stored correctly and safely.
- Understand food safety requirements ensuring they are always followed.
- Work in a controlled environment.
- Prioritize safety.

Skills and Experience





- Computer literate and trained in associated software to pull orders online.
- Someone with excellent phone etiquette and customer service.
- A problem solver and are able to provide solutions through team collaboration.
- A good communicator that is fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Able to work effectively and productively without close supervision.
- Consistently able to follow instructions and processes in detail.
- Able to identify quality issues.
- Someone with solid organizational skills.
- Someone who takes initiative to get things done proactively.
- Able to lift to 50 pounds assisted.
- Able to demonstrate idea development.
- Someone with an understanding of product marketing.
- Able to coordinate work with others if specific areas that need to be prioritized.
- Able to understand food safety guidelines.
- Familiar with inventory and warehousing processes.
- A High School Diploma
- 1 year customer service experience
- Experience with online applications such as Shopify, Ship Rush, and Windows OS
- 1 year experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Food safety & Health and Safety training.
- Some factory experience and related training.
- Knowledge of related food safety regulations and quality standards.
- A forklift license.
- This position requires 100% on site work.
- Able to work in a noisy factory environment.
- Finger dexterity for product wrapping and keyboarding.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
