Our client is seeking an experienced Production Team Lead to oversee daily operations within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating production activities, supporting team performance, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily production activities and ensure standardized work processes are followed.
- Coordinate staffing, job rotation, schedules, and production priorities to meet targets.
- Train, coach, and support production associates while maintaining training records and skills matrices.
- Monitor safety, quality, production, and 5S requirements throughout the shift.
- Identify production issues, support root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate production requirements, concerns, and performance updates to team members and management.
- Promote Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
- Coordinate additional work, maintenance, and 5S activities as required.
- Complete required safety, quality, production, and incident documentation.
- Work closely with other team leads and departments to optimize manpower and production flow.

What You Bring





- 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive production.
- Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience is an asset.
- Robust understanding of JIT manufacturing, 5S, standardized work, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to train, coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.
